We have 30 years of experience teaching psychology at AS/A level (both in independent schools and FE colleges) and in the UK University sector.
My Psychology Tutor provides tuition that is tailored for the needs of independent schools, international and private students. We are also uniquely qualified to provide advice on UK University applications, career guidance and entry to graduate/postgraduate programmes leading to British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited qualifications.
Unlike other online providers our tutors are qualified to postgraduate level, with full BPS accreditation, prior teaching experience, and an accredited teaching qualification (UK Higher Education Academy). This ensures that we can offer an exceptional student experience from highly qualified and experienced tutors.
We offer live weekly online lectures and seminars in small group sizes that are timetabled across three semesters (Autumn/Michaelmass, Spring/Lent and Summer) to allow students to complete AS/A level course studies in Psychology following the AQA syllabus. Classes are scheduled to ensure there is no disruption to other school activities or timetabled classes in other subjects (allowing students to sit AS/A level psychology if needed as an additional subject earning extra UCAS points). This format - supported by a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and extensive online resources, maximises tutor-student interaction, and allows us to tailor support to the needs of individual students.
